EAP - Employee Assistance Programme

There are a number of employee assistance programmes currently available in the State. These programmes are based on site and are designed to assist

1. organisations in addressing productivity issues
2. employees in identifying and resolving personal concerns, including health, marital, family, alcohol, drug, legal, emotional stress or other personal issues that may affect job performance.

However, very few address what can be a trigger for many of these issues –

the Employee’s Personal Finances

Large state budget deficits and fiscal policies have led to significant cuts in health and social welfare, levies on income and rising living costs. Employees and business management now have to work smarter with their Time and money.

Money Doctor has developed a complete personal financial education and support programme for companies to help their staff cope with Ireland’s current economic crisis at no initial cost to the employee. From the company point of view, our fees are fully tax-deductible. Our services can also be specifically tailored to the needs of your organisation, and delivered with a responsive and compassionate approach.

The Bottom Line:

Financial stress in the workplace has proved to be costly to businesses throughout the world.  By providing your employees with the information and resources to make financially beneficial decisions in their lives, you are providing your business the opportunity to reduce costs, increase worker productivity, reduce absenteeism and improve your organisation’s bottom line.  In today’s economy, the cost of obtaining independent financial advice is outside the realm of most employees’ resources.  The solution offered in The Money Doctor Employee Assistance Programme provides a cost-effective, financially expedient process to improve your business’ bottom line.  Now, knowing the potential cost savings available; can you afford not to implement this programme in your organisation?

The Cost:

There is an annual retainer fee payable by the company which is based on the number of employees and geographic locations.

This fee is fully tax-deductible against company profits.

The first 20 minutes of any employee query is free, whether by phone, email or on a one to one consultation. Thereafter, the cost per hour will be 50% of our normal hourly charge and can be payable by the employee or the company. Every hour will be documented and invoiced.
